Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition 2025: A New Era Begins In-Person
For over 42 years, the Palm Springs Opera Guild Vocal Competition has been a cornerstone for emerging opera talent, awarding over $1 million in scholarships to more than 300 singers, many of whom have gone on to international acclaim. This year, we proudly usher in a new chapter. 2025 marks the first-ever nationwide expansion of the competition, welcoming applicants from across the United States. From 148 submissions, 65 professional opera singers advanced to the preliminary round in October. Ten finalists will now compete live on the Community Room stage for over $30,000 in cash scholarships.
